But convincing Danny and the gang proves to be difficult since each has his or her reasons for leaving, and what’s more, Ed suspects two construction hard-hats are planning an inside robbery once the Montecito’s doors swing open again amid much fanfare. | ||

| Ed (James Caan) desperately tries to keep tough new boss Monica (Lara Flynn Boyle) out of the loop until he finds out who’s been making counterfeit chips that could flood the casino while Danny’s (Josh Duhamel) accountant suggests that he sell his late father’s house — and refers him to the alluring realtor Penny Posin (guest star Rachael Leigh Cook, “She’s All That”). Meanwhile, Monica is furious that nothing can be done to stop a rich “whale” who always wins at the tables while Mike (James Lesure) searches for a wallet-nabbing thief. | ||

| Things are beginning to get hot and heavy between Danny (Josh Duhamel) and Penny (Rachel Leigh Cook) and the relationship becomes a lot more passionate. Meanwhile, Jilian (Cheryl Ladd) sprains her ankle and convinces Ed (James Caan) to walk the family dog at a local Dog Show. Elswhere, the new casino boss Monica (Lara Flynn Boyle) gets stuck in her shower and calls upon Mike (James Lesure) to rescue her.

| – Ed (James Caan) is told to relax and de-stress by his doctor but that plan goes out the window when he finds out that he has become a victim of identity theft and Danny (Josh Duhamel) is given the assignment to find the culprit. Elsewhere, while dealing with her daily casino day to day issues Sam (Vanessa Marcil) gets and unexpected visit from her formerly loser brother. Meanwhile, Mike (James Lesure) borrows Ed’s new Aston Martin and is in for a big surprise when he realizes it has been stolen.

| Danny tracks down the identity of the mystery woman who appears in photos with his father and offers to give her money for her outstanding medical expenses despite being warned by Mike (James Lesure) and Mary (Nikki Cox), Danny becomes suspicious of his new flame, Penny (Rachel Leigh Cook), when he tells her about the latest developments concerning his recently deceased father. Meanwhile, Sam (Vanessa Marcil) later runs into her brother who has stayed in Vegas longer than expected because he’s having an affair with Monica (Lara Flynn Boyle). Even though her brother is head-over-heels in love with Monica, Sam wants them to break up.

| When Danny (Josh Duhamel) visits an antique fair at the Montecito he becomes the focus of a flash back to the Jubilee Hotel and Casino circa 1962 where he is the Director of Entertainment. In the flashback, the new president of the Jubilee Ed (James Caan) designates Mike (James Lesure) as the head of security, Mary (Nikki Cox) to take over the hotel restaurant and convinces Delinda (Molly Sims) to open a dress shop. Elsewhere, Sam (Vanessa Marcil), now a call girl, is almost banned from the casino but escapes punishment by promising to bring all of her high-roller clients to the Jubilee.

| 08. | Bold, Beautiful And Blue | Monday November 14th, 2005 |
| Danny (Josh Duhamel), Monica (Lara Flynn boyle) and FBI Agent Portis review the security measures taken to protect the Kashmir Sapphire, a priceless gemstone on loan and display at the Montecito, from theft. Meanwhile, Monica tries to lure Ed (James Caan) back to the Montecito with a Porsche, a song performed by Robert Goulet, and finally an apology in person. Elsewhere, Mike (James Lesure), Mary (Nikki Cox) and Delinda (Molly Sims) are amazed by the Montecito’s guest magician, Criss Angel, as he performs magic tricks for the Montecito patrons on the casino floor.

| The Montecito hosts a comic book convention and Monica (Lara Flynn Boyle) questions Danny’s (Josh Duhamel) decision to have it at the hotel, after she’s mistaken for Mothwoman by the comic book fans. Meanwhile, Sam (Vanessa Marcil) runs into an old nemesis at a funeral and sparks fly when they get into a confrontation. Elsewhere, Mike (James Lesure) is conducting heavy surveillance on a suspected card cheater on the casino floor.

Meanwhile, Ed (James Caan) gets a little hot under the collar his wife Jillian (Cheryl Ladd) decides to visit and old flame. Elsewhere, upset with Casey’s (Dean Cain) low divorce settlement offer, Sam (Vanessa Marcil) insists on half ownership of the casino but due to an out-of-state legal technicality, Casey withdraws his initial settlement offer and threatens to take her to court to keep everything.

| When diamonds are stolen from the Montecito pool during a taping of a Fat Joe music video, Danny (Josh Duhamel) and Ed (James Caan) find themselves relying on amateur sex video footage to track down the thief. Meanwhile, Mike (James Lesure) and Ed investigate a suspicious craps player who rolls tens every time. Elsewhere Sam (Vanessa Marcil) and Mary (Nikki Cox) set out to reveal Mike’s secret life as a male stripper named “Hot Chocolate.”

| With great fanfare, the Montecito prepares for the grand opening of Wolfgang’s seventh Vegas restaurant, Wolfgang Puck at the Montecito. Elsewhere, hotel guests become frightened when they begin having ghostly encounters. Danny (Josh Duhamel) and Ed (James Caan) are certain there is an explanation, while Mike (James Lesure) is convinced the ghost is Monica. Meanwhile, Sam (Vanessa Marcil) wagers a bet with her nemesis, Paul Logan (Mark Aiken), to see who is the best casino host in Vegas…the loser must leave town for good.

| When The Montecito seeks its annual license renewal from the Gaming Commission, $2.9 million in irregularities are discovered in the auditor’s report. Ed (James Caan) and Danny (Josh Duhamel) trace the missing amount to the date the old Montecito imploded and to a Blackjack tournament which included the infamous Monica Mancuso (Lara Flynn Boyle). Not completely convinced Monica is guilty, Ed and Danny dig deeper and discover much more then meets the eye. Meanwhile, Danny’s former marine Sergeant, Sergeant Burn (Dale Dye) visits The Montecito. The two have drinks with Ed and find themselves in a bar fight. The spirited night leads Ed to offer Burn a job; Danny is happy until the Sergeant imposes his military style leadership throughout the casino. Elsewhere, Mike (James Lesure), an amateur meteorologist, is thrilled when weatherman Storm Reno decides to report the weather from the casino…and when Storm’s health goes array, Mike get the chance to fulfill his dream to “do the weather.”

| The Montecito hosts a car show, and NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series driver Jimmie Johnson comes to Las Vegas to act as celebrity judge. During his stay, he receives plenty of attention from the ladies, Mary (Nikki Cox) and Delinda (Molly Sims), who make it clear how much they would love to go for a ride. Meanwhile, an urban legend comes to life when Danny (Josh Duhamel) and Mike (James Lesure) enter one of the hotel rooms to discover a man missing a kidney laying in a bathtub full of ice. Sam’s (Vanessa Marcil) newest whale comes with a unique problem, palmar hyperhidrosis (a.k.a. sweaty palms), and to deal with him, she must teach Ed (James Caan) the casino host ropes.

| When Monica’s friend, Norma Pitts (Sarah Ann Morris), finds a finger in the Montecito’s new buffet, she has everyone worried she’ll sue. However, Norma tells Ed she doesn’t intend to sue; she wants only one thing…Danny. Using surveillance footage, Ed (James Caan), Danny (Josh Duhamel) and Mike (James Lesure) discover that the finger belonged to a Montecito employee and are shocked when they find out how he lost it. Meanwhile, Sam (Vanessa Marcil) finds her self with tough customer, Oliver Grimaldi (Ed Begley Jr.). The nicer she is the tougher he becomes. Perhaps he likes mean girls?
